All Saints Community Association
All Saints Community Association offers young people an open access youth club and positive activity sessions. Groups meet to discuss a number of issues concerning them, including healthy living and a healthy diet. We also run a monthly first aid Heart Start sessions offering young people accreditations.

Arbeia Roman Fort
Arbeia was a military supply base for the 17 forts along the length of Hadrians Wall.Today, Arbeia combines the excavated remains of the original base with reconstructions of buildings to present a fascinating insight into what life was like in Roman Britain. It is an important archaeological site and is one of the few places in Britain where visitors can see brought-to-life Roman buildings.

Bede’s World
Bede's World represents the extraordinary life of the Venerable Bede who lived and worked there 1300 years ago. You can see rare breeds of cattle, wild boar, sheep and geese whilst historic re-enactments demonstrate how medieval villagers lived and dressed. In St. Paul's Church and Monastic Site and the ruins of the later medieval monastery, experience the unique atmosphere of 1300 years ago. Finally relax in the restaurant at Jarrow Hall, one of the finest Georgian houses in the region.

Bold as Brass Young People's Theatre Company
Bold as Brass is a young people's theatre group that has been established offering a chance to take part in film making, radio plays and live theatre. This group performed a one week's residency in London's West End performing 'Do You See What I See'.

Boldon Young People's Project
Boldon Young People's Project offers girls cheer leading sessions, youth club sessions involving young people in first aid Heart Start sessions and food hygiene courses, many of these courses provide young people with accredited outcomes.
We also provide disco sessions once a month, swimming and football sessions.

Brinkburn Community Centre
Brinkburn Commuity Centre facilitate the Duke Of Edinburgh Award ‘Go For Gold’ Team which is ran by volunteers most of whom have gained the award within the group. The group recruit young people from South Tyneside and train and assess them in the expedition and physical sections of the Award and assist them to complete the full Award. This long standing group has been established for over 45 years.
We also offer a youth club and girls group work sessions providing a range of positive activities and discuss current issues affecting young women. This session also includes giving advice on healthy living, healthy diet and obesity issues. The group also meet to work on projects towards accredited outcomes such as the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

CREST (Compact Race Equality in South Tyneside)
The CREST Charitable Organisation celebrate diversity in South Shields and other areas within South Tyneside. We also champion racial equality.
CREST offers a young persons drop in providing information, advice and guidance on a range of young peoples issues. CREST offers a one to one and meeting room which young people can use as space to revise, socialise and access youth workers. Weekly drop ins cover issue based work and discussions covering crime and disorder, drugs and alcohol, religion and culture and citizenship.
Street dance workshops provide an opportunity for young people to use dance, art and fitness as a tool to engage with others.

Dunes Adventure Island is a new leisure development on South Shields seafront featuring an indoor play area and ten-pin bowling alley.

Simonside Youth Centre
From Easter to the October half term, the Water Activities Centre offer a range of water activities for all. During the term-time, we mainly cater for school groups. After school hours, during the school holidays and on Saturday mornings, the centre is used by groups identified by the Youth Service, Youth Inclusion Programme and other agencies working with young people and residents from South Tyneside.
The centre staff have excellent working relationships with a number of agencies providing positive activities to young people.

Souter Lighthouse
Souter Lighthouse started operating in 1871 and was, at the time, the most advanced in the world.
You can explore the lighthouse, starting in the Engine Room. Learn about how lighthouses work through video, displays and a variety of navigational equipment.
You can experience the fantastic views of the beach and coastline including, The Leas a 2 ½ miles stretch of beach, cliff and grassland with spectacular views and bird sanctuary. Watch the seabirds on the cliffs and around the great sea-stack of the infamous Marsden Rock.

South Tyneside Tourist Bus
Nexus and South Tyneside Council are this summer running an open top tourist bus that will take in South Tyneside’s many historic and cultural attractions.
The route is a circular one around South Tyneside’s many attractions, with stops including the Customs House, Arbeia Roman Fort, South Shields seafront, Souter Lighthouse, Temple Park Leisure Centre, Bede’s World and St Paul’s Church and Monastic site.

The Millennium PHAB Club
Male group session aimed at 14 years and above. This group discuss men's health issues, sexual health and helps to promote independent livings skills and develop IT skills. On occasions they have social evening out.
